ORGANISATIONAL CULTURE

Understand the conditions in which people perform.

Culture is not a programme.

It is what people experience every day, shaped, often quietly, by the behaviour of those who lead.

We advise leaders on what is driving behaviour: the conduct that is rewarded, the assumptions that have become embedded, and the gaps between what an organisation says and what its people experience. We also look at trust, which people need in order to do their best work, and which wears away when it is neglected.

Behaviour rarely exists in isolation.

The way people work is shaped by the world around them: leadership, history, expectations, relationships and the unwritten rules of the organisation. Change those conditions, and behaviour may change with them.

We help leaders see these patterns clearly, and recognise their own part in them.

We then advise on which behaviours, relationships and ways of working deserve attention first, and equip leaders to act.

The aim is not a culture that reads well on paper. It is an environment in which people can work well, perform well and trust the organisation they belong to.

If you feel your culture merits closer attention, we would welcome a conversation.
